🌿 When Ordinary Work Becomes Sacred Work

Yesterday, which was Wednesday, has quietly become my “W‑day.”

Wash. Water. Waste.

Laundry gets sorted. Plants get a drink. Garbage goes out to the road.

None of it feels glamorous. None of it feels profound. None of it looks like the kind of moment where God would whisper something holy.

And yet, He does.

Because the truth is, God doesn’t wait for the big moments to speak. He meets us in the ordinary ones. The repetitive ones. The ones we do without thinking. The ones that look like chores but become quiet invitations.

As I fold laundry, I’m reminded that God is still folding things together in my life — things I don’t see yet, things that look wrinkled or unfinished, things He is smoothing out in His timing.

As I water the plants, I’m reminded that growth doesn’t happen all at once. It happens slowly, quietly, faithfully in the same way He grows patience, peace, and strength inside me.

As I roll the garbage bin to the road, I’m reminded that God is always helping me carry out what doesn’t belong like old worries, old habits, old heaviness. He doesn’t just remove waste from my home; He removes waste from my heart.

Wednesday’s chores aren’t glamorous. But they are grounding. They are steady. They are reminders that God is present in every corner of my life, even the ones that smell like garbage or look like laundry piles.
